We rescue abused and abandoned animals, run two adoption centers and three no-kill shelters, campaign for and defend animal rights, report on animal rights and welfare related issues, and promote a cruelty-free lifestyle.
We received a report that on March 5th a cat had been admitted to an abandoned animal center in Daegu, a city in the southern part of South Korea, with severe burn injuries to its head.
On March 20th, the Blue House Secretary for Civil Affairs, Cho Kuk, announced a detailed briefing of the constitutional amendment bill in which President Jae-in Moon expands basic rights and strengthen the power of the people. The amendment bill includes a clause that gives provision to establish a policy for the protection of animal rights.
