Silver was living in garbage with two other dogs. The others were adopted as they were smaller than Silver. We brought her to our Damshimni center because she had some health issues.

She has a calm personality and never barks. She will grab your hand to be stroked and touched, and when she goes for walks she likes to walk slowly.

CARE is an animal rights organization with offices in the United States and South Korea.

We actively rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abused and neglected animals, and run three no-kill shelters and two adoption centers, the only organization in South Korea doing so.

We campaign for and defend animal rights, fight against the dog meat trade, vivisection, factory farming, and holding animals captive for display and entertainment.
