Nepal was one of the dogs we rescued from the forest fires that ravaged Goseong, Sokcho and other regions of Gangwon Province on the North East Coast of South Korea back in April.
Nepal had an owner at the time, but because their house had burnt down, his owner gave him up to us, stating he could no longer keep him.
Nepal’s health was in a bad way, so he was immediately taken to see the vet. He was diagnosed with heartworms, anaplasmosis, and burns. Nepal is still undergoing skin and heartworms treatment, but he is recovering well at the adoption center. He is eating well, and loves playing with the other dogs.
Nepal likes to follow people around. He doesn’t show his affection as physically as other dogs, but he will gaze at you adoringly. When you pet him, his tail wags ever so cheerfully in return.
What Nepal needs now is a loving family to keep him safe and secure for the rest of his life.
Depending on the breed, the size, and its environment the lifespan of a dog may vary from 12 to 16 years. Please consider this if you are thinking of adopting him.
