Lexi is currently going through treatment due to congenital hormonal issues, and still needs to visit the vet for treatment. She also suffers from the aftereffects of a slipped disk, along with issues with her heart, lungs, and skin.
When she was first rescued, she had no energy left and could barely move. But now, she likes to wander everywhere to discover new things. She looks and feels incredibly soft like a new-born puppy, although she is over a year old.
Lexi doesn’t usually express her feelings but we think that once she finds her forever home with a family that can give her the care she needs, she’ll become a loving member of the family. She will require a lot of care, especially initially, so please take that into consideration if you are thinking of adopting her.
Depending on the breed, the size, and its environment the lifespan of a dog may vary from 12 to 16 years.
