An owner of a dog farm based in Beolgyo, Bosung-gun was was about to shut his farm down for good and had asked for help from the local government. A foreign animal rights organization decided to step in to rescue the dogs, asking us to help them. On February 27th 2019, we were able to rescue 18 of the sickest of the 65 dogs that were at the farm.
18 dogs were transferred to the vet immediately to receive treatment. As of today, most of the dogs have completed all treatment they needed and are being looked after at our shelters or adoption center. The others that need extra treatment are still hospitalized. Bona is one of these dogs.
Bona really loves people: she’s always asking to be petted. The way she looks at you will surely make you want to protect her. She has become more at ease while under the care of her foster parents.
Depending on the breed, the size, and its environment the lifespan of a dog may vary from 12 to 16 years. Bona is still growing, so we ask that you consider all these aspects if you wish to adopt her.
