Cheese is one of the nine dogs rescued from being locked up in a cage for 4 months from birth by a supposed dog farmer who found them “too annoying” to raise.

Cheese is now adapting to his new surroundings, but he still sometimes hides, unsure of himself, and goes rigid when touched by a human. Almost everything is new for Cheese as he explores the world outside of the cage. However, because he is young, he will adjust quickly and become more confident and friendly.

Special Needs

Cheese is in need of continued treatment of his Horner’s syndrome, where the eyeball is moved back; this was the state he was found in at the time of his rescue.

Please Note

Depending on the breed, the size, and its environment the lifespan of a dog may vary from 12 to 16 years.

Cheese is still growing, so we ask you to consider all these aspects if you wish to adopt her. Please contact our Adoption Center for more details, or start the adoption application process below.
