Tori’s State Visit to CARE

Have you been wondering what’s going on with Tori? On March 6th, he made a state visit to the CARE office.

It was the first visit since last July, when the then new President Jae-In Moon adopted rescue-dog Tori from CARE. The visit was scheduled as part of our adoption follow-up process to check how Tori has been doing at the Blue House.

It’s been 7 months, and Tori looked bright and full of vigor. He is much healthier and nicer than he used to be. He used to be very defensive with men because of the trauma of his abuse. However, we saw a much more relaxed Tori showing significantly less aggression towards men thanks to the care of the Moon family.

On the day of the visit, Tori went for a walk in the sun with our staff in Won-seo Park near the CARE office. He received a Tori doll as a gift. The doll will be part of the Tory Doll Exhibition for our “Black Dog Campaign”, which promotes the adoption of black dogs who have gone through similar trauma.

We consider the adoption of Tori by our nation’s head of state to be one of our proudest moments. However, we must never forget the many dogs, cats, and other animals around the country who still need our help.

If you would like to help, consider emulating President Moon and his family and adopt a dog, or make a donation so that we can continue our work.
