Illegal Breeding Center Caught Red Handed, Dozens Rescued

On June 10th 2016, CARE received notice of a car that was suspected to be holding dogs and cats in critical condition. We rushed to the scene immediately, spoke to the man in charge, and successfully rescued 48 dogs and cats.

In the midst of this rescue, we discovered two cats and a dog who had already passed from suffocation. The animals were all in critical condition after being caged in an extremely hot car and needed to be admitted to a hospital quickly.

The car, along with the young cats and dogs were headed to Moran Market, Korea’s largest and most notorious animal trading center. They were stuck in this extremely hot vehicle for over a day and on the verge of suffocation.

However, by the grace of God, all 48 survivors were rescued. Now we need your help to ensure that they get the treatment they need. Please continue to support us so that we can, in turn, support these suffering animals.
