When we first saw Eli, most of her hair had fallen out and she was bleeding everywhere. She was suffering from a skin disease, and was so thin that we could see her ribs. We rescued her and took her to the vet.
Before receiving treatment, Eli was afraid of people and was so timid that she ran away from us. Now, however, she is mild and gentle and plays happily with other dogs in the center. She is still a little afraid of strangers, but will open up with time.
